Shipping
All wines and spirits purchased from Park Avenue Liquor Shop are sold at its licensed premises in the State of New York, where title to all such merchandise passes to the buyer. Park Avenue Liquor Shop may only deliver alcoholic beverages in the State of New York, but will cooperate with any customer wishing to arrange with an independent carrier for shipment to another state. However, most states impose restrictions on the quantity of alcoholic beverages which may lawfully be shipped into their jurisdictions as well as those persons who may ship or receive wines and spirits without permits or licenses. By placing an order destined for delivery outside the State of New York, you authorize us to have your wine and/or spirits shipped on your behalf by a common carrier for delivery as requested by you. You understand that any such carrier is acting as your agent as the owner of the wine and/or spirits. Please familiarize yourself with the applicable laws and regulations pertaining to the shipment of alcoholic beverages in your state. Park Avenue Liquor Shop assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any such shipments and strongly urges its customers to ascertain the law applicable for shipments to the state to which their order is consigned. All orders being shipped MUST receive an adult signature. We will NOT ship any packages labeled 'no signature required'. Be advised that we CANNOT ship to Pennsylvania. The price chart does NOT apply to online orders for shipments to Hawaii or Alaska. Those states are subject to higher shipping rates. Also, any shipments to Alabama, Arkansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi and Utah can ONLY be made using a business address. Shipments will NOT be made to these states using a residential address. Please call us with any questions.
Store Hours:
We are open Monday to Friday from 8am-7pm and Saturdays 9am-5pm. We are closed on Sundays. For summer hours from Memorial day until after Labor day the store will be closed on Saturdays. Our regular store hours will remain the same.
Regarding Local Delivery:
Same day delivery can be made in Manhattan on orders received by 2:00pm New York City time. Orders received after 2pm will be processed for the following day unless told otherwise. Orders over $50 will be delivered for free within Manhattan below 110th street (please note holiday delivery). Delivery outside New York City, but within NYS can be arranged, by contacting a Park Avenue Liquor Shop salesperson. Park Avenue Liquor Shop may determine to delay orders if weather conditions pose a hazard.
Holiday deliveries (from Dec 1. through Jan 1.):
Due to the high volume of business during this time of year, it is necessary for us to add delivery charges to all local deliveries. For details, please contact us.
International Delivery:
Do not place orders over this site for international delivery. Please contact a Park Avenue Liquor Shop salesperson for details as to whether it is possible to arrange shipping to your country.
Regarding our Inventory:
All claims for shorted, incorrect or damaged product must be made within 30 days of receipt of delivery. Returns due to any other reason will be shipped back at the purchaser's expense plus 15% re-stocking fee. Because of the high volume and nature of this business, Park Avenue Liquor Shop's vast inventory is constantly changing. New products arrive daily and occasionally Park Avenue Liquor Shop will sell out of an item. We are constantly updating our database; however, an order may be processed before a change in the vintage or age of an item or it being out-of-stock can be noted. In such cases Park Avenue Liquor Shop may make appropriate substitutions but only after contacting the purchaser and with his or her consent.
Refunds and Returns:
No Cash Refunds. The State Liquor Authority authorizes package stores to accept the return of liquor or wine from a customer only if the merchandise is defective in quality.
The State Liquor Authority does not approve the acceptance by a package store of the return of liquor or wine purchased by a customer in error. (As per New York State ABC Law).
